Garden, play meadow and sauna
The farm and ’t Bakhuisje are completely surrounded by garden, various terraces and the Natuurmonumenten nature reserve.
The farmstead
Along the drive to the farm
You drive onto the grounds via an unpaved driveway. At the end lies the half-timbered farm. We ourselves live on the east side of the plot, the farm and ’t Bakhuisje are on the west side.
On the south side we have made a quiet terrace from old planks, with a wonderful view over the Vijlenerbos.
Wellness
The wellness circle
For our guests we have a wellness circle with a lovely sauna, an outdoor shower, a small seating area and a fire basket. After a day of walking you step into the sauna, followed by an outdoor shower under the starry sky of ’t Geuldal.
The wellness circle is shared with the other guests and use is included. Bring a bathrobe, slippers and possibly an extra large towel for the sauna.
For the kids
The play meadow
On the north side of the farm you will find a lovely play meadow with a swing, slide and table tennis table, and a small football field. Plenty of room to run around, with the brooks and sunken lanes around the corner.
Fire and oven
Pizza oven and fire spots
Guests of the large half-timbered house can use the wood-fired pizza oven themselves. Not in the mood to do it yourself? Then we organise a pizza evening or set out a DIY pizza kit for you. At ’t Bakhuisje there is a Weltevree outdoor oven, in which you can also barbecue or bake a pizza.
Er staat een houtkachel in beide huizen. Stookhout kost {hh_prijs:stookhout} per grote zak en wordt na vertrek verrekend met de borg.
