Would you like to get married in a special way, in a place with character, peace and room for your own story? At Hoeve Hurpesch you celebrate an intimate wedding on an ancient half-timbered farm, carefully restored and surrounded by the rolling South Limburg landscape.

No standard formulas, but your story
No fixed programme, but a weekend made to measure, exactly as you want it. Think of an intimate ceremony with a view over the Geul Valley, long tables under the stars and making memories together by the fire.
With our trusted partners we arrange everything that is needed: styling, flowers, lighting and atmosphere. You can let go and simply enjoy.
For small groups
Celebrated in style
Whether you marry with a small group or celebrate the whole weekend with 30 to 60 guests: everything is possible. The farm has room for 30 overnight guests, spread over the main location and ’t Bakhuisje, with comfort, style and privacy.
Extra day guests who do not stay overnight are welcome too.

Exclusivity in rural calm
During your wedding weekend the whole farm, including ’t Bakhuisje, is exclusively yours. No other guests, no shared spaces: just your loved ones, the silence of the countryside and room to truly be together.
Mornings start relaxed with a well-prepared breakfast, while a dedicated hostess in the background makes sure your stay runs effortlessly. A cosy pizza evening on arrival, or rather a ceremony in the orchard at sunset? It can all be done, as long as it fits the small-scale, personal atmosphere of this place.

Not a party venue
Because of the special location, amplified music and parties are not possible. Partying is great fun in one of the many pubs and venues in and around Mechelen.
Weekdays are possible too
A wedding on a weekday, without an overnight stay or with, for example, 1 overnight stay, is also possible.

At Hoeve Hurpesch we work with FBLS Weddings, an experienced and passionate wedding planner who makes your dream wedding a reality. From the first contact to the moment you leave the party, the wedding planner makes sure everything runs smoothly.
They take the time to discover your vision together with you, help think about the place for the ceremony and the right suppliers, and make a tailor-made schedule. On the day itself they are there to keep everything on track, from welcoming the guests to lighting the fire baskets.

All weekends in spring up to and including September 2027 are unfortunately no longer available. We only have options left in midweeks, from Monday to Thursday.

The costs of FBLS Weddings, rental items, staff and service, dinner and drinks come on top of the weekend. Because this depends greatly on your wishes, we cannot state a fixed price for it.

The practical bits
How many guests can stay overnight?
A maximum of 30 overnight guests, spread over the half-timbered house and ’t Bakhuisje. Extra day guests who do not stay overnight are welcome.
Can we also get married on a weekday?
Yes, in midweeks from Monday to Thursday. That can be without an overnight stay or with, for example, 1 overnight stay.
Can we have a party with music?
No. Because of the special location, amplified music and large-scale parties are not possible. A party with a DJ is possible in one of the many pubs and venues in and around Mechelen.
Can we have a tour first?
